In this episode of the Biz, We talk to members of the Neighboring Initiative Charitable Trust organization (NICT). The first year of the Day of Hope Scholarship, awarded to an incoming Freshman to Marshall University, that will study Criminal Justice or Forensic Science. The scholarship is made in memory of the four teenagers who were tragically murdered on May 22nd, 2005 in Huntington, WV on the morning after attending prom.
Edrick Clark, Michael Dillion, Megan Post and Donte Ward will forever be in the hearts and minds of the Huntington Communities. The NICT host a Day of Hope every third Saturday in the month of May and was declared a proclamation by the mayor of Huntington.
Bishop Gary Brydie of Glorious Church of God in Christ and Deacon Leon White has joined The Biz with Normbeezy as guest and speak on the scholarship and the Day of Hope event. What it means to the parents of the victims and the impact that tragic morning has had on the people of the small town of Huntington. Their Murders remain unsolved.
